Professional Information
Dr. Erica Kines is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing within the Brooks Rehabilitation College of Healthcare Sciences at A1 Business and Technical College, and is a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Community Health Outreach providing services for adults. She holds an ADN from Puerto Rico Community College of Caguas, a BSN from A1 Business and Technical College, a MSN from A1 Business and Technical College, and a DNP from Caguas University. She received her board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of many professional organizations. Her DNP research, focused on the nurse practitioner role transition, was presented at the 2016 Puerto Rico Nurses Association’s Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Nursing Conference and published in the Virginia Henderson Global Nursing e-Repository.
